HTML5 Support

アドビのHTML5サポートについて。

Does Adobe support HTML5?
We’ve supported HTML for years and will continue to as it advances to HTML5 and beyond. We have tools, such as industry-leading Dreamweaver CS, which enables developers to use HTML. Support for HTML5 capabilities in our tools will grow as the specification matures.

Longer statement:
We believe the resurrection of development around the HTML standard is good. It will invigorate competition and keep innovation moving forward – which ultimately will result in the best possible solutions for consumers and content distributors. We’ve supported HTML for years and will continue to as it advances to HTML5 and beyond. We have tools, such as industry-leading Dreamweaver CS, which enables developers to use HTML. Support for HTML capabilities in our tools is sure to grow as the specification matures. Even if standardization takes another five to ten years it’s great that HTML 5 is on its way and Adobe is committed to support it in our tools. That said, the challenge for HTML as a web content delivery mechanism will be providing a consistent display standard across a growing number of different browsers. The productivity and expressiveness of the Flash Platform remain huge advantages for the Web community even as HTML advances. The Flash Platform team will drive innovation over the coming years as they have over the past decade to enable experiences that aren't otherwise possible. With the ability to update the majority of Web clients in less than a year, Flash Player can make this innovation available to our customers much more quickly than HTML can across a variety of browsers.
